Privacy Policy

This policy describes information connected with visits to De Baca County Court Docket, why it may be used, and the limited situations in which it may be shared. Continued use of the site signifies acceptance of these practices.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

When a visitor enters a name or case number into a search feature, the query is sent to the outside service that operates that feature. The provider processes the query under its own terms. We do not keep a separate log of those search terms.

Messages and Contact Submissions

If a visitor sends us an email, we retain the message and contact details needed to respond. We do not disclose that correspondence outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Data We Gather Automatically

Like most sites, server and service providers may receive technical details when a page loads.

  • the IP address associated with the connection;
  • browser version, device type, and operating system;
  • pages viewed, visit duration, and timestamps;
  • the referring site, when one is supplied; and
  • diagnostic data used to maintain the service.

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files placed by a browser. They and analytics tools can show aggregate use patterns, such as which pages load and where visits end. Browser settings can limit cookies, though some functions may behave differently when cookies are blocked.

What We Do With This Data

Technical and correspondence data may be used to operate, secure, and improve the site.

  • maintaining availability and site performance;
  • sending a submitted query to the selected search service;
  • understanding aggregate page use;
  • detecting and resolving technical problems; and
  • delivering advertising that may be relevant to a visitor’s interests.

No Court-Record Data on File

De Baca County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case-record data. It identifies official routes to the De Baca District Court Clerk’s Office, the De Baca County Magistrate Court Clerk’s Office, Fort Sumner municipal-court contacts, Case Lookup, and registered re:SearchNM access. Court-file access is governed by the custodian and by New Mexico rules, including Rule 1-079 NMRA, rather than by this private site.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside search providers operate the search boxes used on some pages. Their privacy notices, data retention, and sharing rules apply to information entered into their tools. Review a provider’s own policy before submitting any query because we do not control that provider’s handling of information.

Links to Other Websites

Links may lead to New Mexico court pages, clerk resources, state access systems, legal-help resources, and search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination’s privacy terms control. Review those terms before providing information there.

Advertising providers can also use their own technology to measure activity across websites. That activity occurs under the provider’s policies, not this policy.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal information. Limited information can be processed by services that support the site or when disclosure is legally required.

  • search partners handling a submitted query;
  • analytics providers measuring traffic and performance;
  • advertising networks serving material on a page; and
  • government or law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal requirement.

How We Protect Your Data

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the data we handle. Internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed secure, so no system can promise that an incident will never occur.

Users Under 18

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If we learn that such information was provided, we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Your Data Rights

Applicable law may provide additional privacy or consumer-protection rights. Court-record requests in New Mexico are a separate matter: they should be directed to the case-file custodian under the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 1978, Section 14-2-8, subject to Rule 1-079, Rule 1-079.1 NMRA, and the Case Access Policy where relevant. At a minimum, a visitor may:

  • ask what personal information we hold about the visitor;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of information we hold; and
  • ask to opt out of certain processing when applicable.

Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy as site practices change. A revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
